“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do and mostly Live.”
It was Yesterday or the day before, Red China attacked and occupied Tibet. I am not sure about my Tomorrow. I live Today. I have the chance to Believe. I have the chance to Hope. Today gives me the chance to express my Love. For I live Today, I Believe, I Hope, and I share my Love. I am seeking the Compassion of Lord Avalokitesvara to uplift Tibetans from pain and misery caused by military occupation of Tibet. While patience and perseverance provide the ability called endurance, it will not be enough to change the nature of Red China’s tyranny. I am seeking the Uplifting Power of Compassion to act as a Physical Force to move Red China’s military personnel out of Tibet without giving them any reason to experience pain or suffering.

DALAI LAMA’S WISDOM INSPIRES 2016
Ed Nakfoor, Business columnist 10:39 a.m. EST December 30, 2015
Ed Nakfoor
This is not one of those year-in-review columns. No rehashing of 2015 musings. No nostalgic look at what was or what could have been. No fixation on missed opportunities and lessons learned. While history is a wonderful teacher, better to not dwell there.
Conversely, this is not a column about predictions for 2016. I do not own a crystal ball, divining rod, dream catcher or any such tool to chart a course for success at work, with school or in life.
After all, even the wisest among us, with a track record of solid forecasts, can see them crumble when winds of unpredictability are whipped into a frenzy. Rather, my message is focused less on the year ahead and more on the next few minutes, few hours … a day at most.
Originally … My original idea was the annual “Merry Christmas” versus “Happy Holidays” dust up. I even wrote about 100 words before I shifted gears: This was no frog in her throat. But something was there, preventing the words from forming. Finally, she coaxed them from her lips: “Have a happy holiday.”
She was not speaking to me. Rather, she was extending tidings of the season to the person with whom I was meeting. If my eyes did not roll then my sigh was weighted with disappointment; it was a few weeks ago so the details are a bit fuzzy. Regardless, merely the thought of it annoys me. After all, if the wisher of holiday cheer knew the other woman why not simply say “Merry Christmas?”
And with that I have officially entered the culture wars.
The issue is tiring. And so very silly, really. When the debate about the red Starbucks cup was in full throttle last month we discussed its news coverage in class. “Unbelievable,” I said, “the world is quite literally on fire and we’re debating the Christmas-worthiness of a cup.”
Although I do find it curious we do not have this conversation when the spring holidays arrive, clustered as they typically are; however in 2016 Easter, Passover, Greek Easter … the arrival of spring … are spaced far enough apart we do not have to contemplate an all-inclusive greeting for fear of committing what is fast becoming a crime against humanity: unwitting foot-in-mouth offense.
Presently … Set to resume writing on Christmas Eve morning, though, I customarily scanned the news as the coffee brewed. Following a week of “best of” and “top stories” of 2015 I anticipated those headlines would have made their way to less prominent positions in the papers. Alas, not the case.
And so was born my message. Actually, it is borrowed from the Dalai Lama but the words came to mind as I dismissed the paper with a flourish.
“There are only two days in the year that nothing can be done. One is called Yesterday and the other is called Tomorrow. Today is the right day to Love, Believe, Do and mostly Live.” I first read that on a framed canvas hanging in a friend’s kitchen. And I think of it often when frustration sets in, or my confidence takes a tumble, when the grip of writer’s block squeezes ever stronger, or as I gaze at the calendar wondering what is to come.
As I spend my few weeks off from school updating one syllabus and developing a new one for the upcoming winter term I think of that quote. As I sift through notes from last semester and scraps of paper on which I jotted ideas to create the best possible class I recall those words. Even as I write this wondering how readers will receive it and what my next topic will be I cannot help but remember this truism.
Indeed, recall rather than ruminate on the past, and prepare for but do not become preoccupied with the future. Instead, think of 2016 as simply a collection of days. Each taken one at a time.

Boosting Happiness – Is there Happiness in Occupied Tibet?
Boosting Happiness – Is there Happiness in Occupied Tibet? This question must be answered while standing on Tibetan soil while witnessing the reality of occupied Tibet.
In my opinion, happiness cannot be discovered by mind training. The mental experience of happiness demands correspondence with an external reality. The reality of Tibet is described by Occupation, Subjugation, Suppression, Oppression, and Tyranny. No amount of mind training will change that reality. To find happiness in Tibet, we need to free the mind from burdens imposed by foreign conquest. The path to happiness brings me to the problem of military occupation of Tibet. If it is possible, I shall choose selfless love to evict the military occupier of Tibet.

He has written bestselling books, led world finance leaders in meditation and been dubbed the most contented person on the planet.
But as geneticist-turned-Buddhist monk MATTHIEU RICARD tells Jane Mulkerrins, the secret to true happiness goes deeper than worldly successHappiness, Buddhist monk Matthieu Ricard insists, is something we can all achieve to a greater degree with ‘mind-training’While I may not have empirical evidence to back this up, I’d wager that New York City is one of the most selfish places on earth. Dominated by the buzz of Wall Street dollars, fuelled by the froth of the fashion industry, it’s a city obsessed with the twin pillars of power and wealth, and populated largely by ambitious individualists. There’s a strong history of philanthropy among the one per cent, but naming a library after oneself is hardly an act of selfless charity.
And yet, on a Monday evening in an elegant Manhattan museum, a well-heeled crowd of New Yorkers is giving a rock-star reception to a Tibetan Buddhist monk, who is here to preach on the transformative value of altruism.
Brought up in Paris, Matthieu Ricard, 69, has been named ‘the happiest man in the world’, and is best known for his two bestselling books The Art of Meditation and Happiness: A Guide to Developing Life’s Most Important Skill (Matthieu’s share of the proceeds goes to funding hospitals and schools in Tibet). In the latter, Matthieu presents the notion that our concept of happiness is flawed: true happiness is not a feeling of elation or euphoria; rather, it is ‘a deep sense of flourishing that arises from an exceptionally healthy mind – contentment rather than the collection of good times’.
Matthieu Ricard on Boosting Happiness. Boosting Happiness – Is there Happiness in Occupied Tibet? This question must be answered while standing on Tibetan soil while witnessing the reality of occupied Tibet.
In both books, he offers ways to train one’s brain, suggesting that happiness – like meditation – can be learned. ‘Meditation is not a mere relaxation method but a long-term cultivation of human qualities,’ he says.In spite of spending much of his time sequestered in a Himalayan hermitage, Matthieu – a former high-flying molecular geneticist and the son of a prominent French philosopher – has become an enormously influential figure internationally and a regular fixture at the World Economic Forum in Davos, where he leads masters of the financial universe in morning meditation.

‘I sometimes feel sad when sadness is the appropriate response, for a disaster in Nepal… But sadness is not mutually exclusive with a genuine sense of flourishing,’ said Matthieu (pictured with Jane Mulkerrins)
He is the right-hand man of the Dalai Lama and one of his two TED talks, on the habits of happiness, has been watched by more than five and a half million people. His writings on happiness and meditation have also led to his weighty new tome Altruism, described in a review by The Wall Street Journal as ‘a careful, detailed, hard-nosed assessment of what is needed both for individual happiness and for the welfare of the planet’.In an era defined by image, introspection and the selfie – which neatly sums up what Matthieu refers to as the ‘narcissistic epidemic’ – the notion of altruism might appear to have been abandoned by modern society. But running to more than 850 pages, and bringing together economics, evolution and environmental challenges, as well as medicine and neuroscience, Matthieu’s Altruism: The Power of Compassion to Change Yourself and The World is a positive, polemical call to arms. ‘It is so rich, so diverse, and yes, so long, that it is best kept as an inspiring resource to be consulted over many years,’ advises the WSJ.
On stage this evening, dressed in his red robes, Matthieu admits that he never intended to produce such a hefty read. And he certainly never planned to write a book about the environment. ‘But in the end, it is simply a matter of altruism versus selfishness,’ he says. ‘If a rhinoceros ran into the room now, you would all run away,’ he notes to the hugely attentive audience. ‘But if I say that a rhinoceros might be coming in 30 years, no one will do anything.’

A few days after his talk, I meet Matthieu at the exclusive Manhattan townhouse where he is staying during his week-long visit to the city, a four-floored brownstone belonging to Andrea Soros Colombel, the philanthropist daughter of billionaire investor George, who has a charity that has supported Tibetan culture and people for more than 20 years. It feels incongruous to be meeting in a place of such wealth. A little later, when we leave the house together to take some photographs, Matthieu comments, with a chuckle, that the entrance vestibule is the size of his hermitage. As he sinks into a large grey armchair in the top-floor lounge, I ask how he copes with the frenetic pace of his speaking schedule. This week alone, he has given scores of presentations and talks to NGOs, at corporations including Google and alongside numerous luminaries such as Richard Gere and Arianna Huffington. ‘It’s temporary,’ he smiles beatifically and shrugs. ‘If it were a full-time job, I would quit.’
Later today, however, he will be making a diversion en route back to Nepal, flying to his native France for three weeks to visit his 92-year-old mother, herself now a Buddhist nun who lives in the Dordogne. The Ricard family, it seems, are an impressive lot. Matthieu’s elder sister spent her career working with mute children, but at 42 years old was diagnosed with Parkinson’s. ‘She’s incredibly courageous, never complains, but she’s had a lot of suffering,’ says Matthieu.

At the Shechen Tennyi Dargyeling Monastery in Nepal, by contrast, he rises at 4am and meditates until daybreak. ‘Then I take tea on the balcony, watching the birds on the mountains,’ he says. After another meditation, he eats lunch and in the afternoon studies Tibetan texts. ‘Or, in the past few years, I’ve worked on my books.’ He meditates again until sunset, says prayers, and goes to bed early.

‘I love children. But the idea that I need to be their father? I don’t see the need for that,’ said Matthieu
For his part, Matthieu is witty and quick to laugh; the word twinkly feels belittling to apply to one so spiritually enlightened, but he exudes calm, composed but playful charisma.Growing up in lofty circles in Paris – Matthieu’s father Jean-François Revel was a prominent philosopher and journalist and a former member of the French Resistance, while his mother Yahne le Toumelin was a painter – he was surrounded by artists and intellectuals. He first had lunch with the Russian composer Stravinsky aged just 16.
Was it, I ask, a completely secular upbringing? ‘Not completely,’ says Matthieu. ‘No religious practice, but from when I was about 14 my mother got into studying the Christian mystics. ‘Buddhism didn’t have much to offer at the time because there were not many good translations.’Matthieu is clearly fearsomely bright – though he wears it lightly – and speaks French, English and Tibetan fluently. ‘I learned Greek, Latin and German, which I forgot. And I used to speak fluent Spanish when I was a kid, which I also forgot,’ he says ruefully. ‘I was printing books in Delhi, so I know everything about printing in Hindi, but I could not have a conversation in it,’ he adds.
He is also an accomplished photographer, praised by the legendary Henri Cartier-Bresson, who said of his work, ‘Matthieu’s spiritual life and his camera are one, from which spring these images, fleeting and eternal.’When Matthieu was 18, his parents separated (his father left his mother for the journalist Claude Sarraute), and Matthieu started studying to become a molecular biologist. But he felt that something was missing. ‘I didn’t know what. But it was some sort of aspiration. I could sense a potential, but I didn’t know where to look,’ he recalls, removing his round-rimmed glasses and cleaning them with a cloth he produces from the folds of his robes.Inspired by films about Tibetan monks made by his friend Arnaud Desjardins, Matthieu decided the place to look was India, and in 1972, aged 26, he left Paris for Darjeeling to study under Kangyur Rinpoche, a Tibetan master in the Nyingma tradition, the most ancient school of Buddhism. He remained in Darjeeling for seven years, during four of which he never left his hermitage – a small hut on stilts, facing the mountains, with no electricity or running water. ‘It was the most peaceful, satisfying time of my life; I felt totally content,’ he sighs.
His father, while not impressed by his son’s decision to abandon his successful career for Buddhism, did not stand in his way. His mother, meanwhile, took a three-year retreat and followed her son into the faith.Matthieu still sees himself more as a scientist than a philosopher and believes that from a Buddhist perspective the contemplative or meditative tradition is a science of the mind.
Neuroscientist Richard Davidson at the University of Wisconsin-Madison conducted experiments on experienced meditators, each of whom had completed up to 50,000 hours of meditation, first when their brains were in a neutral state and then while meditating on generating a state of ‘unconditional loving kindness and compassion’. The results showed huge changes in brain activity between the two states, with Matthieu’s results showing the greatest difference they had ever measured, leading to him to being dubbed the ‘happiest man in the world’.
He, however, bats the title away. ‘There is no scientific basis to it; there is no happiness centre in the brain,’ he insists. ‘What we did at Madison was testing the effects of compassion and meditation. ‘It is true that it was of unprecedented magnitude,’ he concedes. ‘But what do they know about seven billion people? They have not all been measured.‘It’s not a terrible title,’ he admits, ‘but it sort of stuck like a piece of Scotch tape that you can’t get rid of.’But happiness, he insists, is something we can all achieve to a greater degree with ‘mind-training. ‘Not everyone will play the piano like Rachmaninoff, but if you spend three years practising for half an hour a day, you will definitely enjoy playing the piano,’ he asserts.‘You may not be like Federer when you play tennis, but if you practise, you may fully enjoy playing tennis. Why not the same thing with human qualities? If you can become good at chess or music, why not at altruism and compassion?’ Just two weeks of practising compassion meditation increases pro-social behavior (showing kindness, volunteering, donating or cooperating) and reduces activity in the area of the brain associated with fear, he says.
Tibet Consciousness. Is there Happiness in Occupied Tibet? I am seeking Power of Compassion to uplift Red Army from Tibetan territory without giving them experience of pain and misery. Matthieu Ricard on Happiness.
In studies conducted with children, who took part in mindfulness and cooperation exercises three times a week, their pro-social behavior increased exponentially. Such findings, Matthieu believes, prove the enormous potential meditation has to reduce discrimination and exclusion. And, as the book’s bold title claims, Matthieu also believes that greater altruism and compassion can improve our world beyond the individual level, too – at a cultural and societal level.‘Aristotle was a great philosopher, but he was in favor of slavery,’ he points out.‘Nobody is in favor of slavery any more. Did human beings change? No. Institutions changed.‘Culture is cumulative,’ he believes. ‘We don’t have to re-examine every generation. ‘Whether slavery is wrong and we should abolish it, or whether women should have the right to vote – that is acquired in our culture.’Matthieu likens it to ‘two knives sharpening. Individuals change culture, culture changes the individuals – and the next generation will change it again,’ he says.
Matthieu’s is a powerfully positive and inspirational message; does he ever feel unhappy, I wonder? ‘No, I don’t feel fundamentally unhappy,’ he says. ‘I sometimes feel sad when sadness is the appropriate response, for a disaster in Nepal or a massacre – how can you not feel sad? ‘But sadness is not mutually exclusive with a genuine sense of flourishing, because it gives rise to compassion; it gives rise to the determination to do something,’ he asserts. Contrary though it may sound, ‘happiness shouldn’t always be pleasant,’ he says.
What about regrets, I ask. Does he harbour any of those? ‘Regret?’ he cries, motioning around the expensively decorated mansion. ‘Every time I look at these things, I feel, wow, imagine the responsibility of taking care of this place.‘My teacher used to say if you have a horse, you have the suffering of having a horse. If you have a house, you have the suffering of having a house. So much trouble to fix the tap, the electricity…’ he chuckles.Has he ever regretted not having a family of his own?‘Absolutely no regret,’ he says firmly. ‘We have so many children in the monastery, and we have so many children in the school there. ‘I love children. But the idea that I need to be their father? I don’t see the need for that.’

The Indian Tradition developed philosophical concept of “ANAND” often described as Pure Joy, or Pure Bliss. I can verify the same using the medical concept of Equilibrium. Students of Physics easily understand the Concept of Equilibrium and Balance.

Spirituality Science – Clinical Medicine Can Verify the Mental Experience called Truth, Consciousness, and Bliss.
ANAND (Sanskrit. Anand, from nand meaning “to rejoice” or “to delight”) denotes mystical experience, spiritual bliss or a state of consciousness such as that of a Jivan Mukta, i.e. one released while still in body. Anand in the Upanishadic texts is taken to be one of the three inherent attributes of Atman or Brahman, the other two being Sat and Chit. In the Taittiriya Upanishad (II. 15), it acquired this meaning of Pure Bliss.
The Self at the lowest or first stage of its evolution is defined as the Annamaya Kosa (the matter) which evolves successively into Pranamaya Kosa (life), Jnanamaya Kosa, man (mind or perceptual consciousness), Vijnanamaya Kosa (Self consciousness, The Knowing Self) and Anandamaya Kosa, Nondual Bliss. In SIKH theology too, Anand is one of the attributes of the Supreme Self; so it can be the state of the Individual Soul as well. GURU Amar Das`s composition Anandu, in the measure Ramkali, gives an exposition of the experience of Anand, of the Union with the Immaculate Hari attained through absorption in “Nam”, i.e. repetition of Divine Name.
That, indeed, which is Jīva (individual soul) is the all-blissful Divine in disguise, descended to enjoy the self-luminous World Brahman. This which is the experience of suffering is an experience made of bliss. The All-Blissful enjoys its bliss only. Who indeed could dare enjoy that which is devoid of bliss? He only could dare it who is all-blissful. As for him who is devoid of bliss, he while enjoying the blissless, would still not enjoy it, would rather perish without bliss. Who can become weak? He only can who is all-powerful. The weak one indeed invaded by weakness would not endure, but would perish without force. Who could enter Ignorance? Only He who is omniscient could enter it. As for the ignorant, he could not endure in that darkness, non-being would remain non-being only. It would perish without knowledge. Ignorance is the play of knowledge, concealing itself in itself. Weakness is the play of power, blisslessness the play of bliss, the concealment of itself in itself. Blissfully laughs the Jīva, blissfully cries, sheds tears, blissfully throbs as if shining in dark Ānanda, agitated by tortures, blissfully throbs agitated by violent pleasures. For the full enjoyment of the dark ignorant portion of that Ānanda he (Jīva) conceals It, becoming obscure and ignorant.
Sri Aurobindo echos the Gurbani:
There is Brahman alone, the One without a second. Being and non-being are its forms and It is also beyond Being and Non-Being. There is nothing else except That. All that is contained in the three times and all that is beyond the three times is indeed that One Brahman alone. Whatever is in the universe, small or large, noble or mean, is Brahman alone, Brahman alone. The world is also Brahman. It is true, not false.
That alone is the Transcendent Being, beyond all the three times, beyond all the worlds, penetrating all the worlds, beyond Being, beyond Non-Being, All-Being, All-Consciousness, All-Bliss, without beginning and end, the eternal Divine.
He is without quality and supports all qualities. He has qualities, infinite qualities, and enjoys the state of being without quality. He Himself transcends the state of being without qualities and the state of being with qualities. He is neither without quality nor with quality because He is One and Single.

Spirituality Science – Clinical Medicine can verify the mental experience called Anand, Pure Joy, and Pure BlissMIND – FACE CONNECTION. FACIAL APPEARANCE OR COUNTENANCE PROVIDES CLUES TO IDENTIFY MENTAL STATE OR CONDITION.
From very ancient times, medical practitioners all over the world, recognized the connection between Mind and Face. The conditions that affect human body and mind can be diagnosed by careful examination of clues offered by Facial Appearance or Countenance.
For example, Indian tradition describes or uses the term “ANTAHKARANA” that includes four, different attributes of Mind. These are, 1. Manas or Manah associated with Thinking, Thoughts, or Power of Imagination, 2. Buddhi associated with Knowledge and Intellect, 3. Chitta associated with Mood such as Kindness, Love, Compassion, Anger, Fear, etc., and 4. Ahamkara associated with Self-Pride or attributes like Arrogance. Each of these Mental Conditions, States or Mental Faculties are often associated with expression of their contents on Face.
While practicing Clinical Medicine in Armed Forces, I gained practical experience of The Art of Diagnosing Positive, Good Health. Armed Forces demand that men and women should be physically and mentally fit at all times. In military practice, the doctor spends more time in conducting medical examination of people to assess their physical and medical fitness as compared to the time spend on examining people to diagnose Ill health, Sickness, or Disease. Observation of Facial Appearance provides important clues about Man’s mental and physical health. On several occasions, I have diagnosed or suspected serious medical conditions when patient simply arrives in the Clinic or Hospital for medical evaluation. People can be very good actors but it is not easy to express things on Face as the facial expression is not always directed by conscious mental activity like thinking or thoughts. For example, a good actor can project sense of Fear and generate facial expression of Fear but in reality it is not the same as Fear expressed on the face of a victim of Heart Attack or Myocardial Infarction.
Spirituality Science – Clinical Medicine can verify the mental experience called Anand, Pure Joy, and Pure Bliss
I agree that it will not be easy to diagnose Mental State, Physical State or Condition by simply examining one photo image. During Medical Examination, I keep the patient distracted and would not let him or her know that I am simultaneously evaluating Facial Expression while performing tests to recognize symptoms and signs caused by various health conditions. I want to assure you that your ‘inner experience’ of truth or reality can be verified by using The Art of Facial Diagnosis.
The Indian tradition describes the mental condition called ‘ANAND’ or Joy, or Bliss as the sign and symptom of Self-Realization. Self-Realized Soul can be medically diagnosed by careful examination of Facial Countenance.

Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Scapegoat Tradition: To promote Whole Team Member Happiness and Excellence, I appoint myself as the official Scapegoat. The biblical tradition of Atonement will take rebirth in a new form for saving Whole Team Members from blame and sin
Yes Indeed, Life is Complicated. The fundamental complexity of Life involves the problem of Sin which dates back to the very beginning of the man. Fortunately, the Bible offers a Second Chance to the man to remove the burden of Sin. In work life, the man needs a new tradition to survive in the workplace without getting swallowed by Sin as determined by his employer.
The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: This blog post is respectfully dedicated to the memory of William Tyndale (1494-1536), English Religious Reformer, translator of the Bible and a Protestant Martyr. He coined the phrase Scapegoat in 1530.
Here is the most exciting news for ‘Whole Team’ Members. You can safely and securely deposit all the blame for all your mistakes on the head of your designated Scapegoat.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: Very exciting news for all Whole Team Members. I have chosen myself as the official Scapegoat of the Whole Team. Members can safely and securely lay the burden of blame and sin upon my head and I will deliver the sin in a desert or wilderness and dispose off all your fears and worries to make sure your Happiness and Excellence at your Workplace.
As a ‘Whole Team’ Member, my primary concern is about your Happiness and Excellence at the Workplace. But, we have to accept the realities of life.
What is Sin?
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: Very exciting news for all Whole Team Members. I have chosen myself as the official Scapegoat of the Whole Team. In common usage, the word ‘Sin’ refers to the blame attached to any behavior or action that is not acceptable to established standards. At the Workplace, there are over one hundred rules of conduct and behavior; the terms and conditions for workplace behavior and conduct are explicitly stated. It is not easy to avoid blame or ‘sin’ while you work for wages or salary. The workplace often uses a scoring system by awarding points for each type of misconduct and the points earned will invariably lead to corrective action which includes dismissal from service.
My idea is not about changing workplace terms and conditions for employment. I am proposing an original plan for ‘Sin Removal’ and ‘Sin Disposal’ Service that will promote the Team Member Happiness to boost up the wage earner’s excellence in the performance of the workplace tasks.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: To promote Happiness and Excellence at the Workplace, I am proposing to appoint myself as the official Scapegoat of the Whole Team. The biblical tradition of Atonement will take rebirth in a new form to save Whole Team Members from blame and sin that relates to their Workplace behavior and conduct.
My proposal for ‘Sin Removal’ and ‘Sin Disposal’ Service would have the next features:
1. An Official “Scapegoat” of the Whole Team,
2. An Official High Priest, a designated ‘Team Leader’ or a designated ‘Facility Team Leader’ who is given the powers by the Employer to “transfer” the blame and sin of any given employee and place it on the head of the “ScapeGoat,”
3. An official designated day of “Atonement” or on the US holiday Labor Day, the “ScapeGoat” will be dispatched to the desert to safely and securely dispose of all the blame and sin, and
4. On successful conclusion of the Sin Disposal Mission, the “ScapeGoat” returns to the workplace from the desert.
The Scapegoat Service:
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Scapegoat Service is a legitimate Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service that is currently offered only to Whole Team Members as a Whole Reward for their Whole Labor.
ScapeGoat Service is a legitimate Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service that is now offered only to Whole Team Members as a Whole Reward for their Whole Labor.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Scapegoating is the practice of singling out an employee for unmerited negative treatment or blame.
Scapegoating is the practice of singling out an employee or the member of a group for unmerited negative treatment or blame. I fully condemn the unjust and unfair practice that is popularly known as “Scapegoating.”

In Hebrew tradition, ‘ScapeGoat’ is a specially chosen he-goat over the head of which the ‘High-Priest’ of the ancient Jews confessed the sins of the people on ‘The Day of Atonement’ (Yom Kippur), after which the goat was allowed to escape into the wilderness.

This practice of transferring the sins of a selected group of people like the Israelites and placing the burden of sin on an entirely blameless creature was duly sanctioned by the LORD God. But, to make this practice a success, we must take care of the details; and in that context, I quote a well-known statement, “The Devil is in the Details.” Firstly, we have to understand the Biblical traditions and the division of humanity into two separate kinds called the Sheep and the Goats.
Jesus, the Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the World is not a Goat:
WHOLE DUDE – WHOLE SIN – WHOLE ATONEMENT: JOHN, CHAPTER 1:29, JOHN THE BAPTIST DESCRIBEs JESUS AS THE LAMB OF GOD. HE IS THE SAVIOR OF MAN FOR HE CAN REMOVE SINS OF MAN AND CARRY THAT BURDEN AND PAID THE PENALTY. LORD JESUS CHRIST IS NOT A SCAPEGOAT FOR HE IS A LAMB AND NOT A GOAT.
I read some articles posted by biblical scholars that compare Jesus Christ to the goats described in the Old Testament Book of Leviticus, Chapter 16, verses 7 to 26. Their interpretation is totally incorrect. The word ‘Sheep’ when applied to man, it describes a person who is meek, submissive, and obedient. The word ‘Goat’ when applied to man, it describes a person who is wicked, rebellious, and lecherous. Sheep and Goats are animals that are often mentioned in the Holy Scriptures and Jesus Christ is best portrayed as “The Good Shepherd.”
WHOLE DUDE – WHOLE SIN – WHOLE ATONEMENT:THE SCAPEGOAT SERVICE: IN THE BIBLICAL TRADITION OF HEBREW PEOPLE, BOTH SHEEP AND GOATS ARE USED IN PRIESTLY RITUALS. BUT, IT MUST BE NOTED THAT SOME JEWS MADE IMAGES OF HE-GOATS FOR THEIR IDOL WORSHIP AND THE IMAGES OR IDOLS OF SHEEP ARE NEVER USED. LORD GOD CONDEMNED THE WORSHIP OF GOAT IDOLS AND CALLED THEM GOAT DEMONS OR DEVILS, THE FALLEN ANGELS.
It will be equally important to note that the Hebrew people made images or idols of calves and he-goats and even appointed priests to worship those idols. The Old Testament Book, 2 CHRONICLES, Chapter 11, Verse 15 mentions that King Rehoboam, son of King Solomon appointed priests for the goat and calf idols he made. There are no reported incidents that involve the worship of images or idols of sheep.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Idolatry by the Hebrew People. Idols of Sheep were never involved in the Biblical practices of Idolatry.Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Idolatry by the Hebrew People. Idols of Sheep were never involved in the Biblical practices of Idolatry.
In the Book of Leviticus, Chapter 17, Verse 7, LORD GOD Commands, “They must no longer offer any of their sacrifices to the ‘goat idols’ (goat devils or demons) to whom they prostitute themselves.” Hebrew religious ceremonies and offerings at the Tabernacle included the sacrifice of both sheep and goats.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Idolatry by the Hebrew People. Idols of Sheep were never involved in the Biblical practices of Idolatry.
Lord God condemned the practice of idol worship and he blamed the people of Israel and the animals that are used in the practice of idolatry. The worship of he-goat idols is the worship of devil or devils.
But it must be noted that the plural word “Devils” occurs four times in The Old Testament. Twice, the term ‘devils’ is “Sa irim” which means he-goats.
The Separation of the Sheep and the Goats:
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Idolatry by the Hebrew People. Idols of Sheep were never involved in the Biblical practices of Idolatry.
In The New Testament Book Matthew, Chapter 25, Verses 31 to 46, the separation of human beings into Sheep and Goats is fully described. “When the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, He will sit on His throne in heavenly glory. All the nations will be gathered before Him, and He will separate the people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats. The sheep will inherit the Kingdom prepared for them since the creation of the world. The righteous sheep get the blessings of eternal life. But, the goats are cursed into the eternal fire and they will go away to eternal punishment.”

It makes abundantly clear the concept of Reward and Punishment and explains the meaning of sheep and goats as applied to mankind.
Who is Your Scapegoat?
The Scapegoat Service-Whole Team-Whole Labor-Whole Reward. The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service. The Scapegoat is not a Sacrificial Goat. It is just an Emissary Goat.
The “ScapeGoat” used for the Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service will not be harmed or punished for carrying the burden of sins on its head. In my view, the “ScapeGoat” will be fully rewarded for doing its work in obedience to the LORD’S Commandment.
The ‘ScapeGoat’ is spared its life for a specific reason and it has a specific purpose and a mission to do when set free in the wilderness.
The Concept of the Escaped Goat or Azazel:
The “escaped goat” is a fallen angel and got transformed into a desert demon or devil and must be recognized as a female or a she-goat.
The Scapegoat Service-Whole Team-Whole Labor-Whole Reward. The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service. The Scapegoat is a He-Goat and is not a Sacrificial Goat. It is just an Emissary Goat. The Escaped or Departed Goat is a She-Goat, a Fallen Angel or Demon.
I carefully examined the concepts of The Scapegoat and The Escaped Goat and found that the ‘ScapeGoat’ is an ’emissary goat’ that is sent to the wilderness to specifically meet the ‘escaped goat’. The Hebrew word “AZAZEL” primarily refers to “escape.” The ‘escaped goat’ did not escape from the Israeli camp. The ‘escaped goat’ had ‘escaped’ from God’s Kingdom in Heaven. For that reason, the ‘escaped goat’ is a ‘fallen angel’, a devil, or a demon. The gender of this ‘fallen angel’ must be interpreted as female for the ‘escaped goat’ is a she-goat or “ez + azal.” A male or he-goat is purposefully chosen as the ‘Escape Goat’ for it has the natural ability (the use of sexual intercourse) to deliver the sin to the devil or demon which is thought to be a she-goat.
I am pleased to announce that I am chosen or selected as the ‘ScapeGoat’ to give the Sin Removal, and the Sin Disposal Service as a ‘Whole Reward’ to the ‘Whole Team’ Members for their ‘Whole Labor’. On a day of celebration like the US Labor Day holiday, the ‘ScapeGoat’ will get the blame and sin on its head, giving the Whole Team Members the opportunity to fully enjoy the glory of the fruits of their labor, as all their faults and shortcomings are entirely removed and would be discarded in the wilderness.
It is surprising to note that both Hebrew and Christian Scholars didn’t interpret the word “AZAZEL.” Is that a place? Is that a person? Is that an action called ‘Escape’? In my view, “AZAZEL” describes a “Fallen Angel”, an Angel that deliberately escaped from God’s Kingdom in Heaven. Having escaped, the Angel got transformed into a ‘Devil’ and the ‘Devil’ can be easily recognized for the ‘Devil’ has horns and a tail.
We have to carefully understand the Biblical principles and practices to save people from punishment and harsh retaliation for their sinful conduct and behavior. While the Bible recommends a very rigid conduct code, it uses a flexible approach while giving punishment. Bible does not always demand punitive or retaliatory action while it deals with the problem of sinful conduct.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Idolatry by the Hebrew People. Idols of Sheep were never involved in the Biblical practices of Idolatry.
The Old Testament Book LEVITICUS, Chapter 16, verses 7 – 26 give a very detailed description of the practice called “The Day of Atonement.” The Bible gives the man a second chance, a chance to atone, redeem, and save himself for his shortcomings.
It is very interesting to find that the Bible has devised a mechanism to transfer the sins of an individual, or even a large group of individuals and place the burden on the head of an innocent creature whose life is spared while it finds an opportunity to dispose of the sins in a place far away from the community.
“But the goat chosen by lot as the scapegoat shall be presented alive before the LORD to be used for making atonement by sending it into the desert as a scapegoat (Leviticus 16:10).” Further, the Bible carefully describes the entire practice by which sin can be transferred. “He (the High Priest) is to lay both hands on the head of the live goat and confess over it all the wickedness and rebellion of the Israelites – all their sins – and put them on the goat’s head. He shall send the goat away into the desert in the care of a man appointed for the task. The goat will carry on itself all their sins to a solitary place; and the man shall release it in the desert (Leviticus 16:21-22).”
It is very clear that the Bible does not intend to punish or retaliate against the scapegoat which is used for Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service and the Bible insists that the life of the scapegoat must be protected by appointing a man for the task of dispatching it into the wilderness or desert.
Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Tradition: I AM APPLYING THE BIBLICAL PRACTICE OF ATONEMENT TO SAFELY TRANSFER THE SINS OF WHOLE TEAM MEMBERS ON TO THE HEAD OF A DESIGNATED SCAPEGOAT WHICH WILL CARRY THE BURDEN AND SAFELY DISPOSE OF THE SIN IN A DESERT. IN THIS ENTIRE OPERATION, THE SCAPEGOAT WILL NOT BE EXPOSED TO ANY HARM TO ITS OWN LIFE AND WELL-BEING.
I am applying the Biblical Tradition of Atonement to solve the problems of our Whole Team Members at the workplace. These hourly wage-earners who make a living on their labor or physical exertion deserve some help to get rid of the burden imposed by citations that they get for violations of the workplace code of conduct and behavior. It should be understood that these workplace violations do not imply the violation of State or Federal Laws and are never reported as State or Federal Crimes.
We need a flexible approach and we need a corrective action that includes the opportunity to transfer the blame and sin accrued by an employee to a blameless employee and give the employees the second chance. My proposal for Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service is unique and is the first of its own kind. In the entire US history, no person has ever shared my concept of protecting happiness and excellence in the workplace performance of employees by simply transferring, removing, and safely disposing of the sin burden by literally using another blameless employee as a “Scapegoat.” To protect the life and well-being of the “Scapegoat” the Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service needs refinement of the Biblical practice.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: To give the Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service, I have chosen the destination for the release of the burden of Sin. The desert near the City of Las Vegas, Nevada is an ideal choice for the execution of this Whole Atonement Mission.
The Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service using the “Scapegoat” is a vital Mission for ensuring the productivity and efficiency at the workplace as the employees can’t find happiness and excellence if they have to shoulder the burden of sin for violations of the code of conduct and behavior determined by the employer. At the same time, it must be realized that the “Scapegoat” is not a sacrificial goat and in its true sense it is an Emissary Goat. I have carefully selected the desert near Las Vegas City, Nevada as the destination of the “Scapegoat” for its Whole Atonement Mission, to release its burden of sins in the wilderness using the biblical principles involved in the observance of Atonement.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Whole Team – Whole Benefits – Whole Reward: To grant the Whole Reward to Whole Team Members for their Whole Labor, the Scapegoat will safely and securely remove all their sins and dispose them in accordance to the Divine Law of Atonement.Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: For my Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Service, I have carefully chosen the City of Las Vegas, Nevada which has already established its reputation as “Sin City.”
There are several tactical advantages in choosing Las Vegas as the destination of the “Scapegoat” to dump its burden of sin. Las Vegas has clearly established its reputation as “Sin City” and hence the City can’t object or restrict the Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service that involves using the desert near Las Vegas. Secondly, the City promoted itself using the Slogan, “What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas.”
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: I selected Las Vegas, Nevada for executing my Sin Removal and Sin Disposal Scapegoat Mission. The City is known as Sin City and secondly, What Happens in Vegas, Stays in Vegas. The Sins dumped in Vegas just stays there forever.
For the successful execution of my Scapegoat Mission, it is important that the sin that is removed and disposed of must not return to the workplace. Las Vegas makes an open commitment and promises that “What Happens In Vegas, Stays In Vegas.”
The Biblical Legend about “Escaped Goat”
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: The phrase Scapegoat has a very interesting story relating to its usage. It is derived from the Hebrew words Samir+La+Azazel which means He-Goat+to+Desert Demon. The Goat that leaves or released is always a He-Goat and it also implies that a She-Goat had already escaped or left heaven suggesting a fallen angel. Hebrew Ez+Azal means She-Goat left or departed. He-Goat is an emissary and it is released with the expectation that it will meet She-Goat and transfer the burden of sins using the mechanism of sexual intercourse.
The phrase “ScapeGoat” was coined by William Tyndale in 1530. Tyndale was an English reformer and translator of the Bible. His work is the basis for the Authorized or King James Version of the Bible of 1611. But, unfortunately, he was executed for heresy in 1536. He did not get the chance or fortune to be a “Scapegoat” and he carried the burden for the faults of the Church and its Clergy.
The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: The phrase Scapegoat has a very interesting story relating to its usage.
The phrase combines Scape + Goat and it’s derived from Latin. Caper Emissarius which means Emissary Goat, or Greek. Tragos Aperchomenos which means Departing Goat. In the Hebrew tradition, the phrase is derived from “Sair La Azazel” which means a “Goat that Leaves.” But, the Hebrew word “AZAZEL” also refers to the name of a ‘Desert Demon’. In Hebrew, the phrase was coined to imply that the “Scapegoat” is always a He-Goat and that the “She-Goat” or EZ + AZAZEL, the Fallen Angel had already left or escaped. The Emissary Goat or the Departing Goat has a purpose for it is sent to the wilderness to meet “AZAZEL” the Escaped She-Goat or its transformation, a Desert Demon. There is some connection between the Escaped She-Goat and the Desert Demon. To seek atonement, the Hebrew tradition is placing the burden of sins on a He-Goat and then releasing it in the desert or wilderness where it has the opportunity to find the She-Goat or the Desert Demon which eventually accepts the burden of Sin delivered by the He-Goat using the mechanism of sexual intercourse. In my view, the safe and secure Sin Removal, and Sin Disposal Service needs an unknown Desert Demon or a She-Goat or a Female Deity who specializes in disposing of the burdens of human Sin.
Whole Dude – Whole Sin – Whole Atonement: Both Hebrew and Christian scholars fail to interpret the word Azazel. If the word describes the Devil, the scholars do not know the gender of the desert demon or devil known as Azazel. The Sin Removal and the Sin Disposal Service-The New Scapegoat Service: WHILE I WAS SEARCHING THE DESERT NEAR LAS VEGAS, I DISCOVERED THIS ENCHANTING DESERT CREATURE CAPTURED BY AURELIE CHEN. WholeDude – WholeDesigner – Whole Happiness: Arthur Schopenhauer(1788-1860), German philosopher had famously stated: “It is difficult to find happiness within oneself, but it is impossible to find it anywhere else.”
The word happiness(noun) is about having, showing, or causing a feeling of great pleasure, contentment, and joy. The word glad implies a strong, exultant feeling of joy. Being cheerful requires a steady display of bright spirits or a condition of rejoicing. The term ‘bliss’ can be used to describe the perfect condition of total happiness and in the Indian language of Sanskrit the word “ANANDA” describes the perfect state of existence while experiencing pure happiness, joy, or bliss. It is easy to describe happiness while it could be difficult to find happiness. The reason is that of finding circumstances that favor or cause the feeling of happiness. The problem is, man’s experience of happiness is affected by both outward and inner circumstances beyond his control. The pursuit of happiness can be granted as a Constitutional Right and yet there is no guarantee that man may find the happiness that he desires in his living experience. Arthur Schopenhauer stated: “It is difficult to find happiness within oneself, but it is impossible to find it anywhere else.” While happiness is an inner experience, it is formulated by the external circumstances found in a given place, at a given time, and in a given environment. Happiness cannot be discovered and people cannot find happiness until the external circumstances favor the experience of happiness. If the circumstances that do not favor the experience of happiness cannot be changed, man experiences stress and has to use coping mechanisms to deal with those unhappy circumstances. The ability to cope with unhappy circumstances may not be viewed as a state of having, showing, or causing a feeling of great contentment, pleasure, and joy. I am not inclined to say that Schopenhauer taught a ‘pessimistic’ view of human existence. He placed emphasis on human will and he considered that pleasure is simply the absence of pain. Schopenhauer lived a solitary life from 1831 until his death in 1860 and for about 28 years of his life he was resentful at the world’s failure to recognize his genius. Fortunately for him, his works received international recognition during the final years of his life and provided him the experience of some happiness.
THE THEORY AND THE NATURE OF HUMAN WILL:
WholeDude – WholeDesigner – Whole Happiness: There is a fundamental problem with man’s experience of happiness. Man has no choice other than that of interacting with the circumstances of a given environment in which he exists at any given time.
Will is the term used in philosophy and psychology to describe the faculty of mind that may play a role to stimulate motivation of purposeful activity. Will is a motivating force and is related to other words such as wish, desire, appetite, impulse, choice, purpose, and it involves converting a thought into action. Will also includes the power of controlling one’s own actions. The Theory of the Will and the Freedom of the Will have been variously interpreted. Plato, Aristotle, Thomas Aquinas, Descartes and Kant describe Will as personal faculty or function. Spinoza, Leibniz and Hume describe Will as the externalized result of the interaction of conflicting elements. Hobbes, Schopenhauer and Nietzsche describe Will as the manifestation of personality. The religious doctrine of Determinism does not affirm the reality of individual’s Will. Modern Psychology considers the concept of Will as unscientific and human actions are explained on the basis of unconscious motivation.
WholeDude – WholeDesigner – Whole Happiness: Arthur Schopenhauer described the World as a constant conflict of individual ‘wills’ resulting in frustration and pain. Pleasure is simply the absence of pain and can be achieved only through the renunciation of desire. I may be able to control my desires and it may not defend me or prevent another individual exercising his Free Will to take action that will deny me the experience called Happiness. What is the Truth or What is the reality of Happiness???
During 1813-14, Schopenhauer was introduced to the teachings of Indian antiquity – the Indian Philosophy of the Vedas and their interpretations in texts called the Upanishads. It gives me a very good reason to share his views about human existence and about man’s purpose in life. Schopenhauer viewed the entire world is the representation of a single Will of which our individual wills are phenomena. He used the word will to describe desire, striving, wanting, effort, and urging. Man is the expression of insatiable will to life. It is through the will that mankind finds all their suffering. Desire for more is what causes this suffering. Schopenhauer claimed that our world is driven by a continually dissatisfied will that is continually seeking satisfaction. He tried to account for the world in all its significant aspects. He considers the pain and striving of the human condition and the possibility of deliverance from it.
WholeDude – WholeDesigner – Whole Happiness: How to Find Happiness in Each Day of Human Existence??? Schopenhauer explained that human “WILL” exists outside Time, Space, and Causality.
Schopenhauer agrees with Immanuel Kant about human perceptions of the world in which man exists. But he equated Kant’s “thing-in-itself” with a blind impelling force manifesting itself in individuals as the “Will” to live. Schopenhauer’s most important work is “The World as Will and Idea”(1818-19) and a revised edition titled “The World as Will and Representation.” His doctrine of the Primacy of the Will also emphasizes the irrationality of Will. The Will(“thing-in-itself”) is not perceivable as a presentation and it exists outside Time, Space, and Causality. He viewed inner experience as intuited through the Will as the most important form of experience. He tried to understand the relationship between human will and human body. Man can go beyond simple perception to know the ultimate reality called the “Will” through which man is compelled to act to express love, hate, desire, and rejection. Although the Will is entirely real, it is not free nor does it have any ultimate purpose. According to Schopenhauer, human will is all-consuming, pointless, and negative. There is also no escape from the Will as manifested in Nature; the expressions of Will are seen throughout the natural world as in the struggles of animals, the stirring of a seed, and the turning of a magnet. Schopenhauer comes to the conclusion that the purpose in life must be that of escaping the Will and its painful strivings. The arts, especially the Art of Music with their “will-less perception” provide a temporary haven. The only final escape is through the “turning of the Will against itself”, a mysterious process that results in Liberation by causing the sheer extinction of the Will. The Indian School of Thought called ‘The Karma – Yoga’ or ‘The Yoga of Action’ describes that man has no choice and cannot avoid action and it recommends the renunciation of the desire to experience or tasting the fruits of one’s own actions.
WholeDude – Whole Designer – Whole Happiness: In my view, Life cannot be explained on the basis of uncaused, self-caused, unguided, random, and spontaneous actions or events. Life, the striving, the desire, the ‘Will’ is action towards a goal. Most living functions of the human organism are performed by independent, autonomous units called cells that perform goal-oriented actions without the use of man’s imagination or thought.
In my view, Life cannot be explained on the basis of uncaused, self-caused, unguided, random, and spontaneous actions or events. If Life has a goal or purpose, it primarily involves the striving or desire towards the goal or purpose to maintain the condition called existence. The human organism comprises of trillions of individual, independent, autonomous units called cells that perform the living functions without any assistance from the imagination or thought of the man who lives in the world because of those living functions. Human existence cannot be explained on the basis of human will to exist if that human will is dependent upon human thought and imagination. The human being does experience desires and man indeed takes action to respond to those desires. However, the experience called happiness depends upon a factor called ‘Contentment’. It is the factor which determines the degree of gratification that is needed for producing the effect called ‘Satisfaction’. Man can choose to set the bar called Contentment at a high or low-level and experience the effect called Satisfaction while seeking the gratification of his desires. There is no “Whole Happiness” until there is Satisfaction of the desires. To conquer the insatiable enemy called DESIRE, to achieve the effect called SATISFACTION, man must overcome the organs of sense perception, the mind and intellect which are the sitting places of Desire. In my view, there is “Whole Happiness” if and only if man has fully recognized the existence of his relationship, partnership, connection, and association with an external source of “Whole Happiness.” I describe Spirit and Soul as the material principle that establishes man’s relationship with the external source of Happiness and thereby sustains man’s desire to live or to have life. Man is a Spiritual Being who can use his Spirit and Soul to exercise control over his mind, intellect, and senses to manage the feelings, the cravings, the urge, and the inner strivings that could manifest as Free Will and provide motivating power to translate thoughts into actions performed in the external world.
WholeDude – WholeDesigner – Whole Happiness: The word Sunshine means the light and heat from the Sun and Sunshine is used to describe the feeling of Cheerfulness and Happiness. To have a true or real experience of Happiness, man needs an external source of Happiness.
Whole Happiness, Pure Joy, and Perfect Bliss is a condition that demands connection, relationship, partnership, and association between man and his external source of support that formulates the conditions of human existence. In other words, man finds the experience of Sunshine, Cheerfulness, and Happiness under the influence of an external source of Whole Happiness.
