Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence.Bharat Darshan-Vasant Panchami-Birthday Greetings to Goddess Sarasvati
On Friday, January 23, 2026, I submit my prayerful thoughts to Goddess Sarasvati on Her birthday as per the Indian tradition.
I need a heart that can understand, I need eyes that can see, and I need ears that can hear God’s plan for my mortal existence.
Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence. Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence.
As Diwali--the festival of light–is to Lakshmi, goddess of wealth and prosperity; and as Navratri is to Durga, goddess of power and valor; so is Vasant Panchami to Sarasvati, the goddess of knowledge and arts.
This festival is celebrated every year on the fifth day (Panchami) of the bright fortnight of the lunar month of the month of Magha, which falls during the Gregorian period of January-February.
The word “Vasant” (or “BASANT”) comes from the word “spring,” as this festival heralds the beginning of the spring season.
It is believed that on this day, goddess Sarasvati was born. Hindus celebrate Vasant Panchami with great fervor in temples, homes and even schools and colleges. Sarasvati’s favorite color, white, assumes special significance on this day. Statues of the goddess are dressed in white clothes and are worshiped by devotees adorned with white garments. Sarasvati is offered sweets that are given away as prasad to all people attending the ritual worship. There is also a custom of ancestor worship, known as Pitri-Tarpan in many parts of India during Vasant Panchami.
The Foundation of Education
Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence.
The most significant aspect of Vasant Panchami is that it is also the most auspicious day to begin laying ones foundations of education–of how to read and write. Pre-school children are given their first lesson in reading and writing on this day, and all Hindu educational institutions conduct special prayer for Sarasvati on this day.
It is also a great day to inaugurate training institutes and new schools–a trend made famous by the renowned Indian educationist, Pundit Madan Mohan Malaviya (1861-1946), who founded the Banaras Hindu University on Vasant Panchami day in 1916.
A Springtime Celebration

During Vasant Panchami, the advent of spring is felt in the air as the season undergoes change.
Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence.
New leaves and blossoms appear in the trees with the promise of new life and hope. Vasant Panchami also announces the arrival of another big springtime event in the Hindu calendar–Holi, the festival of colors.
Sarasvati Mantra: Sanskrit Prayer
Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence.
Here is the text of the popular pranam mantra, or Sanskrit prayer, that Sarasvati devotees utter with utmost devotion on this day:
Goddess Sarasvati, the Goddess of Knowledge, the Source of Consciousness and Intelligence that is required to establish the living functions of man’s mortal existence.
The following hymn is also recited on Vasant Panchami:
“May Goddess Sarasvati, who is fair like the jasmine-colored moon, and whose pure white garland is like frosty dew drops; who is adorned in radiant white attire, on whose beautiful arm rests the veena, and whose throne is a white lotus; who is surrounded and respected by the Gods, protect me. May you fully remove my lethargy, sluggishness, and ignorance.”

The time is always right to do what is right. I have a Dream to begin a new holiday tradition in American Life.
Whole Dude – Whole Dream: Happy Martin Luther King Day 2026. I have a Dream to begin a new holiday tradition to celebrate the Love Commandments.
Excerpt: In the United States, we have no Law, or a cultural tradition to commemorate the event in which Jesus Christ has issued the two great commandments asking people to observe the Law of ‘Whole Love’ which demands, 1. The Love of God with Whole Body, Heart, Mind, and Soul, and 2. The Love of Neighbor as a requirement of God’s Law for man. The concept of ‘Whole Love’ represents the ‘Whole Law’ that is explicitly pronounced by Jesus Christ as the only Commandment that man must follow and observe in his lifetime. To acknowledge the ‘Whole Law’, to celebrate its pronouncement, we need a new ‘Whole Tradition’ which is reflected by instituting a new ‘Whole Holiday’.
Whole Dude – Whole Dream: Happy Martin Luther King Day 2026. I have a Dream to begin a new holiday tradition to celebrate the Love Commandments.
Martin Luther King Day is a holiday observed on the third Monday in January to commemorate the birthday (January 15) of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr (1929-1968) for his role in improving interracial relationships. In 2026, Americans must learn to live together as brothers and there is no other choice if we have to heal the wounds that divide this country.
Whole Dude – Whole Dream: Happy Martin Luther King Day 2026. I have a Dream to begin a new holiday tradition to celebrate the Love Commandments. DR. MARTIN LUTHER KING, JR IS RECOGNIZED FOR HIS ROLE AS A CIVIL RIGHTS LEADER AND FOR PROMOTING INTERRACIAL RELATIONS BASED UPON EQUALITY, RESPECT, DIGNITY, AND TOLERANCE.
On the occasion of Martin Luther King Jr. Day on Monday, January 19, 2026, I ask Americans to stick with Love, overcome Hate and to begin the healing process by beginning a new holiday tradition to celebrate the proclamation of the Love Commandments.

THIS IS AN OPEN APPEAL TO ALL THE MEMBERS OF THE US CONGRESS TO PASS A DECREE OR LAW TO BEGIN A NEW TRADITION IN THE NATIONAL LIFE THAT CELEBRATES THE CENTRAL ROLE OF LOVE IN DEVELOPING WHOLESOME HUMAN RELATIONSHIPS.
Love is central to man’s relationship to God and man’s relations with other persons. Love has to be known as “The Medium” that generates the attachment or devotion to another person; and this attachment implies connection by ties of affection, sexual attraction, devotion, friendship, goodwill, compassion, respect, trust, and commitment. This kind of care and concern for a person, or persons in a relationship could be called ‘Whole Love’ if whatever is done for Love occurs beyond good and evil.
Whole Dude – Whole Dream: Happy Martin Luther King Day 2026. I have a Dream to begin a new holiday tradition to celebrate the Love Commandments. GERMAN PHILOSOPHER FRIEDRICH WILHELM NIETZSCHE(1844-1900) SAYS, “WHAT IS DONE OUT OF LOVE ALWAYS TAKES PLACE BEYOND GOOD AND EVIL.” GOD’S LOVE FOR MAN IS UNCONDITIONED AND GOD LOVES MAN WITHOUT DEMANDING THAT MAN MUST ACKNOWLEDGE GOD’S LOVE..Whole Dude – Whole Dream: Happy Martin Luther King Day 2026. I have a Dream to begin a new holiday tradition to celebrate the Love Commandments: CHRISTMAS DAY, A HOLIDAY ON DECEMBER 25, CELEBRATES THE BIRTH OF JESUS CHRIST. THE FOCUS UPON GOD’S UNCONDITIONED LOVE IS NOT ALWAYS EXPRESSED IN THIS TRADITIONAL HOLIDAY CELEBRATION.
The Christmas tradition is about the Joy that is associated with the birth of baby Jesus and the exchange of gifts to express the sense of happiness. Christmas holiday is not in remembrance of God’s Law. Jesus Christ established Love as the God’s Greatest Commandment. The Gospel according to Apostle Matthew (Chapter 22, verses 37-40), and The Gospel according to Apostle Mark (Chapter 12, verses 28-31) describe the Commandments of Love: “Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first great commandment. The second is this: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ There is no commandment greater than these. All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two Commandments.” The Gospel according to Apostle John, Chapter 13, verse 34 describes the need for neighborly relations among people based upon Love: “A new command I give you: Love one another, as I have loved you, so you must love one another.”

After my ‘Whole Discovery’, the discovery of the experience of ‘Whole Love’ in Ann Arbor, Michigan on Wednesday, July 30, 2014, I have decided to promote the establishment of a ‘Whole Tradition’ to follow the Spirit of the ‘Whole Law’ to truly observe the Commandment of ‘Whole Love’. To commemorate my ‘Whole Discovery’, I am writing this appeal to ask all the members of the US Congress to approve a new Law to observe the last Wednesday of July as the ‘Whole Love Holiday’. The choice of Wednesday is very appropriate as most other legal holidays are observed on Mondays as a matter of convenience and not for the purposes of obedience to a Divine Law which should be the source and inspiration for the Human Law.

On Wednesday, January 14, 2026, Earth reaches the location that an observer on Earth recognizes as the constellation of Capricorn when he sees Sun against the backdrop of stars in the Celestial Sphere. The man is blissfully unaware of Earth’s motion and merely perceives the apparent motions of Sun, Moon, and stars.

I am happy to extend my greetings to all of my readers on this festive occasion called Sankranti. In the Indian tradition, Sun is represented as personification of the Divine Energy that sustains the life of all that lives on planet Earth. Apart from being the source of primary Energy, Sun is viewed as the Source of Knowledge and Indians seek Lord Surya, the Sun God’s blessings to illuminate their inner, mental world to banish darkness called ignorance. This leads me to reflect on the Theory of Knowledge and the revolutionary change caused by Immanuel Kant in understanding our philosophic problems and procedures.
Makar Sankranti, Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The Perception of Time: Kepler’s Laws of Planetary Motion explain the Perception of Time in our Solar System. In the context of our celebration of the Indian festival of Sankranti, I pay a special tribute to Nicholas Copernicus (1457-1543) who laid the foundation for modern astronomy with his heliocentric theory of planetary motion which replaced the geocentric cosmological theory established by Ptolemy (Claudius Ptolemaeus) of 2nd century A.D. Ptolemy’s theory placed Earth motionless at the center of the universe with all celestial bodies revolving around it. Copernican system places the Sun motionless at the center of the Solar System with all the planets, including Earth, revolving around it.

The Theory of Knowledge – A Copernican Revolution:
Makar Sankranti on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The celebration of Sun’s Journey across the Sky: Spiritualism is the potency that brings the man’s essence and existence to come together to provide the man the subjective and objective reality of his own existence in the physical, or material world.Makar Sankranti on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The celebration of Sun’s Journey across the Sky. Nicholas Copernicus, Polish astronomer caused a revolutionary change in Astronomy for he reversed the way scientists think about the relationship of the Earth and the Sun.
Copernicus caused a revolution when he discerned reflections of the Earth’s own motion in the apparent motions of the planets, and stars. To the same extent, German philosopher Immanuel Kant (1724-1804) inaugurated a new era in the development of philosophical thought. He did comprehensive, and systematic work in Theory of Knowledge, Ethics, and Aesthetics.
Makar Sankranti on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The celebration of Sun’s Journey across the Sky. Immanuel Kant reversed the way philosophers think about the relationship of the world of experience and the mind. As per Kant, the mind is not shaped by the world of experience; rather, the world of experience is shaped by the patterns set by the mind.
Kant alters the nature of philosophic inquiry. He recognizes the limits of the philosophical traditions of both Empiricism that stresses Experience, and Rationalism that stresses Reason. He analyzes the tradition of Rene Descartes (Rationalism) and clarifies the tradition of Francis Bacon (Empiricism). Kant attempts to incorporate both Experience and Reason, without falling into the Skepticism of the empirical school and without embracing the unverifiable metaphysical structure of the rationalist school. He criticizes Leibniz rationalism in his book, “Critique of Pure Reason” (1781).
In Kant’s view, objective reality is known only insofar as it conforms to the essential structure of the knowing mind. Only objects of experience or phenomena may be known. Things lying beyond experience or noumena are unknowable.
Kant states that the human mind provides the forms and the categories that can be used to describe experience. He holds the view that the problems like the existence of God, freedom, and immortality are insoluble by scientific thought. Kant proudly asserts that he accomplished a Copernican Revolution in philosophy. He claims that the subject doing the knowing constitutes, to a considerable extent, the object of knowing; i.e., that knowledge is in part constituted by the mind itself which imposes its influence upon the data of experience. Hence, knowledge is the product of the knowing subject and not a simple description of an external reality. Kant accounts for the application of the mind’s principles to objects by showing that the objects conform to the mind; in knowing, it is not mind that confirms to things but things confirm to the mind. I examine this issue for its relevance to the fundamental concern about human existence.
Spiritualism – A Copernican Revolution:
Makar Sankranti on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The celebration of Sun’s Journey across the Sky: In a moving world and universe called “Jagat”, the entity called Soul , or “Bhavana” provides the unchanging operating system to make the human existence a reality.
The man’s earthly existence is conditioned by constant change under the influence of Space and Time. To make Life happen, the existence has to be synchronized with the external events on which the man has no control. While Earth is spinning at an amazing speed, the man perceives Earth as a motionless object, and experiences the apparent motions of planets and stars. The speed of Earth’s motion, if perceived, is not compatible with human existence. The reality of Sun shining brightly in the sky all the time is not also helpful for human existence. The man needs alternating periods of light and darkness called day, and night. Human existence demands alternating periods of wakefulness and sleep. To experience the physical reality called existence, the man needs the influence of a powerful illusion that changes the perception of reality of this world, and universe that is constantly changing, and moving. The man exists for he cannot alter the sensory experience of Sun’s journey across the heavenly dome.
Makar Sankranti on Wednesday, January 14, 2026. The celebration of Sun’s Journey across the Sky. Sir Isaac Newton demonstrated the properties of Light rays using experiments. Science explains this optical illusion. Could Science remove the optical illusion and give man a chance to experience the reality of this Pencil. The Reality of this Pencil would be known if and only if the Pencil is removed from water as man has no ability to change the properties of Light rays.
In the Indian tradition, it is stated that the Creative Force/Power/Energy called Maya clouds man’s sense of perception of the world and man has no ability to overcome the Power/Force/Energy or Maya that causes the Great Grand Illusion. This world experience caused by the Great Grand Illusion has a survival value as it protects man from the harsher realities of the world and the universe.
Man’s mortal journey on Earth’s surface is measured by the duration of the Sun’s apparent motions across sky which is experienced as Day and Night while the Sun shines all the time without performing movements characterized as Sunrise and Sunset. Man blissfully exists without ever experiencing true motions of the Sun around Milky Way Galactic Center. The Grand Illusion, the apparent motion of the Sun across the sky is the fundamental basis of Biological Rhythm that governs the man’s living functions.
In my analysis, man needs the guiding and regulative mechanism called Soul to perform his living functions in a constantly moving, and changing world. Soul provides man the ability to derive energy from an external source and hence Soul is always associated with the living body. The unity of man’s body and Soul could be named as the ‘God-Connection’ as this ‘Connection’ is not formulated by man’s mental, or physical work. This ‘God-Connection’ helps man to express his desire for Freedom which includes a desire to seek Freedom from the world experience called ‘Death’. If Soul and Spirit are present in the living body that exists in the earthly, material realm, it points towards the operation of Divine Providence in this terrestrial realm. If God by the nature of His existence is present in the immanent realm, the problems of metaphysics such as Freedom, Immortality, and God’s existence do not belong to unknowable, transcendental realm. I claim that Kant is wrong in his view about the relationship between human mind, and the world of experience.
Man blissfully exists without ever experiencing true motions of the Sun around Milky Way Galactic Center. The Grand Illusion, the apparent motion of the Sun across the sky is the fundamental basis of Biological Rhythm that governs the man’s living functions.Man blissfully exists without ever experiencing true motions of the Sun around Milky Way Galactic Center. To define food as any substance consumed to provide the nutritional support to an organism is incomplete as it fails to describe the totality of the relationship between food and its consumer. The term Food cannot be defined without defining the Organism, the Consumer of Food. I describe the Seven Dimensions of the man. These are, 1. The Physical, 2. The Mental, 3. The Social, 4. The Moral, 5. The Spiritual, 6. The Creative, and 7. The Rational. I define Whole Food as substances consumed by the man to provide support to the Seven Dimensions of the man. Hence, Whole Food is defined as the Spectrum of Seven Colors.

In Biology, cell is the basic or fundamental unit of structure, function, and organization in all living things or it is the building block of life. Let me begin with my respectful tribute to some of the people who contributed to ‘The Cell Theory’, one of the foundations of Biological Sciences. Cells were first observed in the 17th century shortly after the discovery of the microscope. Robert Hooke, british curator of instruments at The Royal Society of London, during 1665 coined the word cell. Dutch microscopist Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek (1632-1723) made over 247 microscopes and examined microorganisms and tissue samples. He gave the first complete descriptions of bacteria, protozoa (which he called animalcules), spermatozoa, and striped muscle. He also studied capillary circulation and observed Red Blood Cells.
The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Robert Hooke, British curator of instruments at The Royal Society of London coined the term cell during 1665.The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Dutch microscopist Antonie Van Leeuwenhoek (1668-80) studied capillary circulation and observed Red Blood Cells.
Improvements in microscopy during early 19th century permitted closer observation and the significance of cells had received better understanding. Matthias Jakob Schleiden (1838), German botanist, Theodor Schwann (1839), German physiologist, and Rudolf Virchow (1855), German pathologist, and others made important contributions to the Cell Theory that describes cell as the building block of all Life.
The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Schleiden, Professor of Botany, The University of Jena studied plant structure under the microscope, published “Contributions to Phytogenesis”(1838). He had also published the two-volume text of ‘Principles of Scientific Botany’.The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Schwann founder of modern Histology extended the Cell Theory of Plants to animals in his ‘Microscopic Researches into Accordance in the Structure and Growth of Animals and Plants(1839).The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Schwann discovered Myelin Sheath covering peripheral axons, now termed Schwann Cells. He coined the term ‘Metabolism’ for the chemical changes that take place in living tissues. The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Rudolf Virchow, German pathologist in 1855 coined the biological dictum “OMNIS CELLULA E CELLULA” – All living cells arise only from pre-existing living cells.
The Cell is the smallest unit in the living organism that is capable of carrying on the essential life processes of sustaining metabolism for producing energy and reproducing. Many simple, small, single-celled organisms like Protozoa perform all life functions. In higher, complex, bigger, multicellular organisms, groups of cells are structurally and functionally differentiated into specialized tissues, organs, and organ systems. Thus, the Cell Theory includes the following foundational principles of the Biological Sciences:
1. All living things are made up of cells. Cell is the most elementary or basic unit of Life.
2. Cell is a fundamental unit of structure, function, and organization in all living things including plants and animals.
3. Cells only rise from division of previously existing cells.
4. All cells are similar in composition, form, and function. All cells are basically the same in chemical composition (in spite of variations) in organisms of similar species. For example, all the solid tissues in the human body can be shown to consist largely of similar cells; differing it is true, but that are essentially similar to an Ovum.
5. The cells exhibit functional autonomy. The activity of an organism depends on the total activity of ‘INDEPENDENT’ cells.
6. Energy flow (metabolism and biochemistry) occurs within cells.
7. Cells contain hereditary, biological information (DNA) which is passed from cell to cell during cell division.
The Cell Theory of Spirituality:
The Rudolf and Rudi Connection. The Discovery of the concept of Whole Spirituality, the three dimensional spiritual relationship between the multicellular human organism, food, and the Divine Providence.
The basic or fundamental unit of life in the human organism is derived from the fertilized egg cell that eventually develops into a complete organism. The most significant feature of similarity between the cells of the human body is the presence of a soft, gelatinous, semi-fluid, granular material inside the cell. This substance known as Protoplasm or Cytoplasm, or Cytosol is similar to the ground substance found in the Ovum or the Egg Cell.
The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Life begins at Conception. Human Ovum Structure – The Cell Theory of Spirituality is based upon the Substance, Structure, Form, Organization, Function, Action and Interactions of this Single Fertilized Egg Cell that eventually develops into a complete human organism.
Protoplasm, the viscous, translucent, colloidal substance is enclosed in a membrane called Cell Membrane, Plasma Membrane or Biological Membrane. A small spherical body called nucleus is embedded in the Protoplasm of the cell. The three essential features of any living cell in the human body are that of the presence of protoplasm, the nucleus, and the cell membrane.
Protoplasm – The Ground Substance of Spiritualism and Spirituality:

I seek the existence of Soul or Spirit in a substance that is basic to life activities, and in a material that is responsible for all living processes. I, therefore, propose that the understanding of the true or real nature of this ground substance of all living matter will help man to discover peace, harmony, and tranquility in all of his internal and external relationships while man exists in a physical environment as a member of a social group, social community, and Society. In this blog post, I would like to pay my respectful tribute to Jan Evangelista Purkinje and Hugo Von Mohl for their great contribution to the scientific understanding of the living substance, living material, and living matter.
The Spiritual Medium for Providing Nourishment to Life: Jan Evangelista Purkyne (Czech name), Jan Evangelista Purkinje (German name)also known as Johannes Evangelist Purkinje, b. December 17, 1787, d. July 28, 1869. The pioneer Czech experimental Physiologist whose investigations in the fields of Histology, Embryology, and Pharmacology helped create a modern understanding of the eye and vision, brain and heart function, mammalian reproduction, and the composition of cells.
Purkinje conducted his research on human vision at the University of Prague and later on, he served there as a Professor of Physiology (1850-69). He went to Germany and was appointed the Chair of Physiology and Pathology (1823-50) at the University of Breslau, Prussia. There Purkinje created the world’s first independent Department of Physiology (1839) and the first Physiological Laboratory (Physiological Institute, 1842). He is best known for his discovery of large nerve cells with many branching extensions found in the cortex of Cerebellum of the brain (Purkinje Cells, 1837). He discovered the fibrous tissue that conducts electrical impulses from the ‘pacemaker’ called Atrioventricular node or A-V node along the inside walls of the ventricles to all parts of the heart to help in Cardiac contractile function (Purkinje Fibers, 1839). In 1835, he invented and introduced the scientific term ‘Protoplasm’ to describe the ground substance found inside young animal embryo cells. He discovered the sweat glands of the skin (1833); he discovered the nine configuration groups of Fingerprints used in biometric identification of man (1823); he described the germinal vesicle or nucleus of the unripe ovum that now bears his name (1825), and he noted the protein digesting power of pancreatic extracts (1836).
The Spiritual Medium to Provide Nourishment to Life: Hugo Von Mohl, b. April 08, 1805, d. April 01, 1872, German Botanist noted for his research on the anatomy and physiology of plant cells.
Hugo Von Mohl named the granular, colloidal material that made up the main substance of the plant cell as “Protoplasm” in 1846. Purkinje invented the word, but Hugo gave more clarity, understanding, and knowing the nature of this ground substance.
The Spiritual Medium for Providing Nourishment to Life: Protoplasm or Cytoplasm is the clear, soft, gelatinous living substance found inside all living cells. A most striking characteristic of Protoplasm is its vital property of Nutrition. Nutrition is the power which Protoplasm has of attracting to itself the materials that provide energy and are necessary for its growth and maintenance.
Hugo Von Mohl viewed cell as an “elementary organ” and in Physiology he explained Protoplasm as an organ of Motion or Movement, Nutrition, and Reproduction. It is the preliminary material in cellular generation. He was the first to propose that new cells are formed by division of preexisting cells and he had observed this process of Cell Division in the algal cells of Conferva glomerata. His observations are very important to understand the Cell Theory that explains cells as the basic building blocks of Life. He was the first to investigate the phenomenon of the stomatal openings in leaves.

Nutrition is the power which Protoplasm has of attracting to itself the materials that provide energy and are necessary for its growth and maintenance.
Protoplasm is a complex, viscous, translucent solution of such materials as salts and simple sugars with other molecules, mostly proteins and fats, in a colloidal state, that is dispersed but not dissolved in one another. Carbon, Hydrogen, Oxygen, and Nitrogen constitute more than 90 percent of Protoplasm. It exhibits properties such as Protoplasmic Streaming or Cytoplasmic Streaming or Motion that is called “Amoeboid Movement.” It has the intrinsic power to change its shape and position. It has the power of Nutrition by which it can attract and obtain the materials necessary for its growth and maintenance from surrounding matter/environment. These functions involve acquiring, processing, retaining, and using information to perform tasks in a sequential manner for a predetermined purpose and hence describe Consciousness, Memory, and Intelligence. The terms Soul and Spirit belong to the materialistic realm where the Physical Reality of man’s biological existence is established. I have not yet discovered any good reason to use the terms Soul and Spirit as a metaphysical or transcendental Reality.
The Ground Substance of Spiritualism and Spirituality:
The Ground Substance of Spiritualism and Spirituality. The vital characteristics, the animating principles of Protoplasm could be known by observing Amoeba proteus. The Living Substance works as an organ of Motion or Movement, as an organ of Nutrition, and as an organ of Reproduction to generate new cells which have a life span of their own. In these physiological functions, I describe the characteristics such as Cognition, Consciousness, Memory, and Intelligence which have a Spiritual role as they bring functional unity and harmony in the interactions between different parts of the same individual organism while it exists in an environment as a member of a biological community.

The Spirituality of Substance, Function, Organization, Action, and Interactions:
The Rudolf and Rudi Connection. The Discovery of the concept of Whole Spirituality, the three dimensional spiritual relationship between the multicellular human organism, food, and the Divine Providence.
To establish the biological existence of the human organism, I add the concept of Spiritualism and Spirituality to the Cell Theory. The Single Fertilized Egg Cell has ground substance that is of Spiritual nature and the Spiritualism and Spirituality consists of the following functional, and organizational characteristics:
1. The Cell is Conscious of its own existence and knows its internal condition and knows it external environment.
2. The Cell is intelligent and it has the cognitive abilities like perception and memory to acquire information, to retain information, to recall information, and to use information in the performance of its complex tasks in a sequential manner.
3. The Cell has the ability to show characteristics such as mutual cooperation, mutual tolerance, and display functional subordination and subservience while being independent.
4. The Cell grows, divides, and develops into a complete organism while it acquires substances and energy from an external environment. The power of Protoplasm/Cytoplasm to attract matter found in its external environment is called Nutrition. The Cell continuously transforms matter to build matter of its own kind for its own benefit to sustain its existence with its own identity and individuality. The Organism represents a social group or a biological community of Cells. The Spiritual nature of Protoplasm/Cytoplasm brings this functional harmony and unity in the Social Group or Biotic Community of Cells by bringing together its Essence and Existence.
5. The Cell Theory is incomplete for it does not describe the conditioned nature of the Cell’s existence. The Cell represents a Living System that is thermodynamically unstable. It requires a constant supply of matter and energy from its external environment to sustain its living functions. The concept of Whole Spirituality formulates the connection between the Cell and its external source of matter and energy.
Life comes into existence when energy-yielding molecules and energy-demanding molecules come together in a spiritual relationship.
Whole Dude Defines Whole Food as the Spectrum of Seven Colors. A 3-Dimensional View of the Adenosine triphosphate Molecule, the Chemical Energy used in the performance of the cellular functions. There is a creative process involved in the transformation of the radiant Solar Energy into Chemical Energy that living organisms use.
The theoretical claims about Spirit and Soul, the religious and philosophical doctrines of Spiritualism and Spirituality must be verified using the Cell Theory that defines the multicellular human organism. To describe Soul or Spirit as nonmaterial or immaterial Self will not help man to know the real or true man.

On the tenth day of January, Septuagenarian Discovers the Septuagint.
I acknowledge the fulfillment of Isaiah’s prophecy on the Tenth Day of January 2019. At any given place, and time, the external circumstances impacting our living conditions vary as all of us have individualistic life experiences even while sharing common living environment.
I seek Emotional Equilibrium or Emotional Balance or Mood Balance while preparing to face challenges posed in the new year of my life. I seek Wisdom shared by Septuagint, the Greek version of the Bible known to Jesus during His lifetime. He cautions people about hardened hearts, spiritual blindness, and deafness that makes people unresponsive to human pain and suffering. I should not hope or desire to find people who have the heart to know my problems, who have eyes to see my difficulties, and who have ears to listen to my pitiable groans.
On the Tenth Day of January, Septuagenarian Discovers the Septuagint.
It helps me to secure my Emotional Equilibrium by knowing Septuagint, particularly, the ideas shared by Prophet Isaiah which guided Jesus during His very difficult Life Journey.

I am not surprised to find that people do not understand the pain that I reveal in my writing. I am not surprised to find that people do not perceive the hardships that I endure. I am not surprised to find that people cannot hear my voice filled with desperation.
On the Tenth Day of January, Septuagenarian Discovers the Septuagint.
I am not perturbed for I live among people whose hearts have become dull. At least for now, I must live without the benefit of healing promised by Jesus.
Jesus speaks of conversion that leads to healing of hearts. Time has healing power of its own. Both physical wounds and emotional injuries heal under the influence of Time. In 2019, I need to wait with patience and ask for blessings of perseverance for the healing process to manifest its results.

Whole Valentine – The Celebration of Holy Death on Wednesday, February 14, 2018: For starters, on Ash Wednesday, the priest draws a cross on your forehead with ashes, a reminder that “dust we are and to dust we shall return.” That means death.
Wednesday February 14, 2018 is very significant as the day symbolizes 3-in-1 Celebration of Holy Death from both Hindu and Christian perspectives. There is an interesting coincidence of three holiday traditions; 1. Maha Shivaratri, 2. Ash Wednesday, and 3. Valentine’s Day.

In essence it is celebration of Divine Love to defend man’s mortal existence from premature loss of life.

In Hindu Mythology, Lord Kamadeva or Cupid known as Lord Manmadha shot his magic arrow to facilitate romantic union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati to save humanity from actions of evil power. But Kamadeva pays heavy price for stimulating Lord Shiva’s romantic interest while He meditated with absolute stillness of mind. Later, Lord Shiva restores Kamadeva’s life for he acted to help humanity to save them from their suffering.

Many Hindus observe fasting on the night before Maha Shivaratri Day and spend the night in devotional worship of Lord Shiva to thank him for His Mercy, Grace, and Compassion in responding to man’s fears about Death. Man conquers his Fear of Death by simply burning his desires. In Indian Tradition, Lord Shiva adorns Himself by covering His body with ‘Ashes’ that signify burnt desires. Man keeps his Love of God by sacrificing desires for material comfort and sensual pleasure.

Ash Wednesday is again celebration of God’s Love. God sent Jesus to save man from Sin and Death. Jesus prepares Himself for His earthly mission for 40 days by fasting and praying. He prepared for His sacrifice through crucifixion to atone for man’s sinful conduct. Ash Wednesday heralds the beginning of ‘Lent Season’ that culminates in Easter Celebration of Resurrection of Jesus after He died on Cross.
“FOR EVEN THE SON OF MAN DID NOT COME TO BE SERVED, BUT TO SERVE, AND TO GIVE HIS LIFE AS A RANSOM FOR MANY.” MARK, 10:45.
Valentine’s Day celebrates romantic interpersonal relationships between men and women. For man is mortal being, man desires to keep feelings of Love alive even after death. Man celebrates enduring and abiding quality of Love for it transcends barriers of Time.

Today is Ash Wednesday, the holiday marking the beginning of Lent, the 40-day period of purification in which Christians often find something to “give up.”
This ritual makes a lot of sense even in modern secular terms. We have juice fasts and cleanses, after all. And indeed, the idea that it could be helpful for all of us to try to get rid of, or at least pause, the superfluous things in our life to focus more on the essential is an idea that is present in spirituality both Eastern and Western, as well as in secular folklore.
Fasting yields spiritual benefits because it is a kind of spiritual workout. Physical exercise works by putting stress on our muscles, and this strengthens them. Something like dieting is worthwhile not just because we expect to get some material benefit from it, like lower weight or better health, but also the spiritual benefit of becoming less attached to material things.
But Lent is about much more than dieting. It’s about death.
For starters, on Ash Wednesday, the priest draws a cross on your forehead with ashes, a reminder that “dust we are and to dust we shall return.” That means death.
This is a part of the Catholic faith that I don’t usually like. Not that death makes me uncomfortable — I believe in life everlasting — but because the faith has been corrupted by the idea that it is simply a get-out-of-hell card, a set of legalistic or pious requirements that one must accomplish to save one’s soul. Christianity shouldn’t just be about avoiding hell — it’s about an encounter with a person whom, we believe, is love made flesh.
The point about ashes and turning away from fleshly reality also offers a reminder of another folk belief that has too long been associated with Christianity: namely, the idea that this world is wholly corrupt and that the body and material goods are to be despised. This belief is actually condemned as a heresy by the Catholic Church, because the Bible affirms that God loves the material world he created.
And yet, while material things like food and drink and sex are all well and good, it is still the case that they are not the most important things in life. And moreover, it is still the case that those things can enslave us. “I can quit any time!” says the smoker, puffing in the rain with a grimace on his face. Tuning down some pleasures might make us realize how much of a hold they have on us.
A reminder of our maturity is perhaps one of the most salutary things we can experience. We are all mortal, and yet we spend our entire lives trying to distract ourselves from this fact. On a day-to-day basis, almost all of us like to think and live and behave as if we will live forever. But we won’t. If you were to die tomorrow — or 40 days from now — what would you change? What would you do differently? Lent pushes us to ask these questions.
Lent is also about death for a much more fundamental reason, one which is much less secular than platitudes about the importance of clean living. Lent is spiritual preparation for the celebration of the Easter cycle, when Jesus Christ was crucified before rising from the dead three days later.
Jesus chose to pour out his divine love on the cross, to give himself fully to us, in an acrobatic act of love that would in a mysterious way bind us to him. Christians, then, are called to imitate him by “dying” — that is to say, by renouncing everything apart from this divine love, everything apart from love of God and love of fellow man.
This, rather than Lent, is the real meaning of Ash Wednesday. I hope you can partake in it.
