Nonviolence could be an acceptable political weapon but to defend the lives and properties of defenseless people, the use of violent force is required to stop an aggressor. Leadership provided by Great Britain, India, and Pakistan had miserably failed the people of Indian subcontinent during India’s partition of 1947.
