WHOLE DUDE – WHOLE COURAGE
WHOLE DUDE – WHOLE COURAGE :
Courage is a virtue based upon an ability to stand firm against pain and danger. The concept of ‘Whole Courage’ may include the courage to do what one thinks is right and just and it calls for the courage of one’s convictions based upon Truth and Action that involves the use of right means to achieve the right purpose.

Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi(1869-1948) is popularly known as Mahatma Gandhi. This Indian political and spiritual leader is regarded as the Father of Independent India. He described his fight with mighty British Empire as "The Battle of Right against Might."
Mahatma Gandhi joined the Nationalist Movement for Indian Freedom during 1915 and began working for Indian Independence from Great Britain. He became a proponent of ‘Satyagraha’ or Passive Resistance to express a truthful revulsion and to abjure injustice. Mahatma challenged the mighty British Empire with a Battle Strategy of his own. In conventional warfare, physical force is used to overwhelm the opponent and the opponent is either killed or subdued to surrender his power and authority. Mahatma’s Battle Strategy of Nonviolence and Non-cooperation involved overwhelming the opponent with a demand for right and just course of action and the opponent is given the full opportunity to decide and choose his own response to the demand for justice. During March 1930, he had attacked the unjust British Rule in a Battle which he described as “The Battle of Right against Might.” On the morning of March 12, 1930, Gandhi and about 78 of his followers had started marching from Sabarmati Ashram, Ahmedabad toward the village of Dandi on the Arabian Sea. This action was taken to oppose the British law that had imposed tax on salt. This ‘Salt March’ ( March 12 to April 06, 1930) is popularly described as ‘Dandi March’ or ‘Salt Satyagraha’. It was one of Mahatma’s most successful campaigns in the Indian Nationalist Movement for Freedom. The British government buckled under the pressure and revoked the tax imposed on salt. Eventually, the unjust British Rule in India was overthrown in 1947 and the British conceded the demand for Freedom.

About Bhavanajagat
I explore ideas and thoughts that pertain to the problems of human existence and welcome thoughts from all directions to understand the nature of Human Identity and Individuality. The multicellular human organism exists as a physical, mental, social, moral, and spiritual being. I divide the human being into two categories. The first category is named 'SELF' and it represents man as a physical, mental, and social being. The second category is called the 'KNOWING-SELF' which represents man as a moral and spiritual being."I am Consciousness, therefore I am", is the proposition that I use to understand the nature of man's Identity and Individuality. Man is a mortal being who leads a transient existence. The physical being is dissolved by the powerful influence of Time. Things in Nature change with Time but the Identity and Individuality of the man remains the same during his life's journey. The genotype remains unchanged even when the phenotype appears to be changing all the time.In the multicellular human organism, the consciousness functions to establish the identity of the organism and to defend its individuality. Consciousness also establishes the connection between the energy dependent man and his energy provider.Man exists in Nature because of his ability to acquire energy and consciousness brings this awareness of energy dependence. I describe the connection between the energy seeker and the energy provider as 'God Connection'. Man during all the stages of his existence, and under any given circumstance, either in good health, or ill-health exists on the basis of this 'God Connection' which is an attribute of the biological function of consciousness. This conditioned nature of human existence is supported by the Power/Energy/Force of Compassion/Mercy/Grace of the Creator who created man as an individual with an unique genome that has never existed in the past and also will never exist in the future. I seek the Unity of Man in Body, Mind, and Soul.
